Seatronics are proud to sponsor The Walsh Ride (TWR) 2014 donating cycling jerseys to the 14 participants from Subsea 7.
On May 9th Phil Middleton (Seatronics Deputy Managing Director) will join the team from Subsea 7 at their office in Sutton, London before setting off to cycle to the Subsea 7 office in Suresnes, Paris in less than 24 hours!
Now in its second year TWR was started in memory of Subsea 7 employee and very keen cyclist Nigel Walsh who competed in many events, L’Etape & Le Mount Ventoux. Nigel sadly passed away with prostate cancer last year, and a number of Subsea 7 employees arranged the ride with the intention to raise awareness and money for the disease. Raising a fantastic £3155 in 2013 they hope to better this in 2014 donating money to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Follow the ride live on Twitter! Through the training & the challenge itself @thewalshride updates will also be available @Seatronics
