Seatronics are joining the pink army to fight in the battle against Cancer. Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it to save more lives.
Six brave ladies from Seatronics Aberdeen are taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5K mud run on the 20th of June. The run is a muddy obstacle course In Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. Hell hath no fury like a woman in pink!
To support the participating ladies and Cancer Research, Seatronics have been fundraising within the office in order to raise as much as we can for this worthy cause. The fundraising kicked off with a ‘Wear it Pink’ day at the office where all employees were encouraged to wear pink clothing to work whether it be a t-shirt, tie or even socks. It was a really successful day raising £115 of generous donations from Seatronics employees.
Seatronics also held a thriving Pink Bake Sale including pink cupcakes, victoria sponge cake and top hats. The pink treats did not last long as we sold out by the end of the morning raising a further £150 for Cancer Research UK.
Our next fundraising activity will be a craft sale where employees will donate homemade crafts to sell within the office with all profits raised being donated to charity.
Seatronics hope to continue their support to Cancer Research UK and you can too!
