Do you have experience as an Electronics Engineer with a desire to take your career places?
We are seeking candidates who are keen to work in our Workshop in Singapore. The Team is responsible for carrying out the testing, service and repair of both Seatronics owned and 3rd party equipment to manufacturer’s specifications and tolerances following in house test procedures. As Workshop Engineer, you will undertake a number of tasks in preparing equipment for sale or rental including equipment interfacing, maintenance, servicing and re-certification all of which will be required in order to meet project deadlines. Although the main role is workshop based, you will also be required to work offshore occasionally and visits clients premises.
To apply for this post you will ideally be degree qualified but you must have NTech or equivalent in an electronics/electrical engineering or engineering systems based discipline. Candidates must have some experience of testing/interfacing and fault finding of electronic survey equipment as well as experience of Pcb investigation, soldering, crimping, mechanical assembly and calibration of equipment. With exceptional attention to detail and an ability to work unsupervised, you must demonstrate your experience of working to a high standard. Indeed, with the occasional need to provide technical support to our customers, including working offshore and on client site, we also require you to have good communication skills and solid experience of Microsoft Office Suite.
