Phil Middleton & Scott Gray successfully completed The Walsh Ride for a second consecutive year in order to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. They rode with 13 employees from Subsea 7- cycling a tough 450 miles from SS7 in Sutton to SS7 in Suresnes, Paris. This 4 day adventure took them initially to Harwich where they travelled on the ferry to Holland, from there they rode onto Belgium and finally France. The route travelled through a famous section of cobblestones which is included in the "Paris Roubaix" race completed by the pros. As a group they consumed 250 litres of water, rode approximately 36 hours and had 27 punctures - 2 for Scott and 0 for Phil!
The Walsh Ride has raised over £5000 so far for The Royal Marsden Charity, well done everyone!
