We are now seeking a Logistics Assistant whom is keen to work in our busy operations team in Aberdeen.
So what are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with experience in global asset logistics with a solid understanding of international legal and regulatory obligations. You will be responsible for the accurate control of goods in/out by arranging, tracking and reporting on domestic and international shipments on a daily basis. You will also be a key player in supporting the maintenance of our asset control database. It is therefore important that you possess good systems knowledge to ensure our streamlined operation continues.
Being able to prioritise your workload and keep to tight deadlines, you will find the challenges of using your initiative and working in a busy environment something of an enjoyment. As this role is demanding, you must have good organisational skills, a logical mind and a flexible approach. With good written and spoken English along with strong IT skills, you will be comfortable working with your internal colleagues, suppliers and clients. Ideally you will have an HNC in Business Administration or maybe you have come from an engineering background, but you must have proven logistics experience to succeed in this role.
