Seatronics Group of companies are proud to have achieved 13 years of no LTIs demonstrating our commitment to QHSE. We want to mirror this excellence across our Acteon Sister Companies and now seek an OSHA qualified QHSE Advisor whom is keen to develop into their next role.
As a recent graduate, you will be supported by our Group QHSE Manager to work with Acteon Sister Companies within Houston thus ensuring workplace health, safety and quality requirements are met in line with Acteon requirements. You will help develop a positive health and safety culture where risks are managed sensibly such that accidents and ill health are reduced. You will also help identify joint solutions to problems with the aim of bringing about improvements in overall efficiency, quality and productivity. With a keen eye for detail, the QHSE Advisor will promote our high standards to support the managers in maintaining compliance and quality.
So what are we looking for? This role would suit a recent post-qualified graduate with energy and determination to succeed. Your commitment to promoting Quality and HSE standards will be clearly visible from some past experience having ideally had a minimal of two years’ experience as a Health and Safety practitioner. You should have an Associate’s degree but it is essential you have completed your OSHA training – i.e. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry. Knowledge of quality processes and compliance, particularly within ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 & 50001 is also helpful.
Above all you will also have good persuasion and interpersonal people management skills with the ability to work across multiple locations. With a drive to work in a changing work environment, you will still be able to maintain effectiveness and efficiency.
